The club's 150^th anniversary will be commemorated by a curling match followed by a dinner/dance. Keep your diaries clear for Saturday the 11^th of November.

Curling Bonspiel
Thanks to various fundraising activities and a grant from Awards for All the club is able to cover the cost of the curling. Plans for the day -

• Bus from Peebles to Murratfield Curling Rink. Leaves 11:00a.m. approx.
• Lunch - Soup and a Roll before curling starts
• 2 games of curling.
  - 1^st session of 6 ends - winners go on to fight it out in the high road - losers play to redeme themselves in the low road
  - stack the brooms and have a drink
  - 2^nd session of 6 ends - "high road" / "low road" play-offs
• Bus back to Peebles around 4:30p.m.

Dinner and Dance
Following the curling, in the evening there will be a dinner / dance in the Black Barony - 7:00 for 7:30 meal. Cost is heavily subsidised.

Contact a committee member, or e-mail the webmaster, to confirm whether you will be able to take part and how many tickets you would like for the evening. Priority for guest tickets will be given to past members and invited guests from neighbouring clubs.
