Welcome to Eddleston Curling Club

Eddleston is a small village, some 20 miles south of Edinburgh, nestled in the Scottish Borders.

Curling originally took place on local ponds around the village. Later it was played on a custom built pond on the edge of the village itself. The club's home ice is now Murrayfield in Edinburgh. Although almost 150 years have passed and the rink has moved, it is hoped that the original spirit of the village's curlers lives on. Competitive yes. But a friendly handshake on the ice, and a social get-together in the pub afterwards still lies at the heart of the club's curling.

Members will find up to date information on club fixtures, the latest club news and interesting facts on the club history and on curling in general.

Although this site is intended primarily to serve the needs of club members, it is hoped that visitors will also find that it develops into a useful resource for all curlers.

New members always welcomed.
